Quality images count - people notice. Making sure your image library reflects the best of what you do translates to customer confidence, appeal and longevity of marketing collateral.
With 15 years in consultative sales and marketing for prestige brands Tiffany & Co, Bang & Olufsen and Porsche I have sound insight into what a best case should look like. Since changing my career path 12 years ago into full time photography, I have shot images for some amazing companies, events, organizations and people. I do all I can to present their people, stories, products and messages in a unique and meaningful way.
In terms of packages and pricing framework, I largely develop my rates based on the specific needs of each job - taking into account distance, accommodation, image output/volume and production requirements. Please use the following simple model as a guideline for estimating the costs involved... but please contact me to refine the offering.
PRICING: All commercial photography is billed out at the rate of $250 for the first hour and $150 for each respective hour required thereafter, plus GST. This rate can be applied to all shoots for business and industry and cases where multi-way shoots are required, the $250 for the first hour is only applied on the first day. The balance of the shoot will be charged at the lower rate. This rate includes all photography, editing and delivery via DropBox or Google Drive.
Additional (reasonable) fees apply for deep-etching, off camera lighting for portraits, and for use of seamless backgrounds. Please ask.
Travel is charged at $.65 per km, and accommodation costs negotiated on a case by case basis.
THE BRIEF: If you have specific ideas on what you want and need in your image library, please take the time to write everything down in a detailed and well outlined brief. This list will match the images that are produced and provide me a creative framework to follow. I reserve the right to postpone or potentially decline covering the work if there is poor information provided - my aim is to deliver exactly what you need, and nothing less. Include any relevant detail such as the ideal delivery timeline, delivery method (DropBox link etc), naming protocol, site contact info, talent required, image release requirements and so forth.
Any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me via the contact form.
Thanks for taking the time to read this info, and I can’t wait to work with you - Pete.
